<b>Robert L. Peters</b> is a renowned graphic designer, a former president of Icograda/ico-D (the International Council of Design), a foreign feature correspondent for <i>Communication Arts</i> magazine, author of the book <i>Worldwide Identity</i>, recipient of the Koopman Distinguished Chair in the Visual Arts from the Hartford School of Art, a designer in residence in the Visual Communication Design department at Monash University, Melbourne; and a Fellow of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada. For the past 35 years he has lived in a low-energy passive-solar house that he designed and built on a woodland acreage in eastern Manitoba.
