<b>Robert Osborne</b> is a producer, director, and writer for Dam Builder Productions and boasts over 30 years of experience in long-format television. During much of his career, he served as an investigative journalist for the CTV show <i>W5</i>. Additionally, he has contributed to <i>Marketplace</i> and <i>Pacific Report</i>. He has garnered numerous accolades, including more than half a dozen awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association of Canada, an award from the Canadian Association of Journalists, an Order of Merit from the Governor General of Canada, and a Canadian Screen Award for best writing in a documentary. In 2012 he left CTV and began to work exclusively on documentary projects. Robert’s notable films include <i>Malcom Is Missing</i> (CBC, 2023), <i>The Third Dive</i> (CBC, 2018), <i>Unstoppable</i> (CBC, 2016), and “The Beaver Whisperers” (<i>The Nature of Things</i>, 2014). Together with his wife, Jari Osborne, Robert’s production company, Dam Builder Productions, has created documentaries for CBC, CTV, the National Film Board of Canada, and the Discovery Channel. He is also the author of <i>The Third Dive: An Investigation into the Death of Rob Stewart</i> (RMB, 2020). He resides in Toronto, Ontario.
